11 DJS, 16 HOURS, 1 BRAND NEW FESTIVAL, €47 EUROS!
A trip to Ibiza will set you back at least €500, especially if you’re considering lapping up the world’s biggest DJs at the world’s biggest clubs. Well if the ongoing credit crunch is concerning you, the Bullmusic Festival in Northern Spain could be just the ticket you’re after. €47 for Tiësto, Mauro Picotto, Markus Schulz, Sander Van Doorn and a whole lot more.
State of the art entertainment technology including some of the biggest LED screens in existence, water light shows and more will fill the Amaya Stadium in Pamplona, bringing you the most breath-taking experience on offer. Couple that with a 16-hour soundtrack conducted by the above world class DJs and you’ve got yourself a festival to be reckoned with.
Bullmusic will take place in the middle of one of Spain’s most famous traditions – the Running of the Bulls or the San Fermin as it’s known throughout the world. Hundreds of thousands of people converge on Navarre for the sacred week, which runs from July 7th – July 14th. Bullmusic is the first festival of its kind, and comes with the city’s full backing and blessing.
And the line-up really couldn’t get much bigger with probably the planet’s most famous spinner headlining proceedings. The stadium-packing, and arena filling Tiësto takes centre stage on Friday 10th July. Joining Tiësto is another legend of trance, and one who this year celebrates 20 years in the game – it’s Mauro Picotto who’ll be performing a specially crafted set that spells out his 2 decades of dance decadence. Mauro said: “Its a great opportunity for me to take a trip to memory lane and to see the reactions of the older records that are still working in 2009”
It’s the world’s number 8 DJ up next, and the conductor of top radio show Global DJ Broadcast; the unstoppable Markus Schulz. The Miami/Berlin based superstar will be stopping by for another insane set, before continuing with his mega summer world tour. Sander Van Doorn, whose own Dusk Till Doorn tour will be well underway climbs on board to give a full dose of Dutch fuelled tech-trance.
French house superstar Antoine Clamaran, will be flying the flag for France while Canadian techno wiz DJ Preach will show off his thing over 4 decks. Local star Abel Ramos will do it for Spain, leaving Tiff Lacey, whose vocal talents have been enlisted by the likes of ATB, Oakenfold and Cosmic Gate on an array of trance masters.
